My Story

For most of my adult life, I’ve been deeply engaged in movements for social justice and ecological sustainability, rooted in the belief that a better world is possible. I’m a graduate student at Lenoir-Rhyne University and have lived in Asheville for over a decade. These mountains are my home, and I care about this community.

As a queer-affirming and sex-positive therapist, I provide compassionate support to individuals of all identities and relationship structures, including cisgender folks, queer and trans people, and those with monogamous, non-monogamous, or polyamorous relationship styles. My approach to therapy is through the lens of neurodiversity. I believe every individual’s experience is unique, valid, and deserving of care and respect. My lived experience with chronic pain and anxiety informs my empathetic approach to therapy, and I’ve been working in mental health since 2022.

If you choose to work with me, you can expect our sessions together to be:

Personal: You’ll have space to share your story. Together, we’ll explore patterns, behaviors, and values that shape your experiences, beliefs, and decision-making.

Goal-Oriented: We’ll define what you want to achieve and collaboratively map out the path toward your goals. 

Mindful: Mindfulness practices help develop awareness of your thoughts, feelings, sensations, and emotions. We’ll take time in session to cultivate and tune into a more mindful presence.

Experiential: Using evidence-based techniques, we’ll explore the connection between mind and body, creating space to fully embrace and embody the present moment.

Collaborative: We’ll partner your life experience with these therapeutic tools to co-create meaningful change.
