My Story
One of the toughest aspects of life is the reality that often it hurts — but you don’t have to hold that pain alone. I care about who you are, where you’ve been, and where you want to go. I see how the systems we live in can grind us down, and I’m here to help you push back — to reclaim your well-being in a world that often feels like it’s working against us.
For most of my life, I’ve been involved in movements for social justice and ecological sustainability because I believe a better world is possible. I’m a graduate student at Lenoir-Rhyne University and have lived in Asheville for a decade. These mountains are my home, and I care about this community.
As a student, I’m driven by the big questions: What makes life meaningful? What does it take to truly be well? As a counselor, I’m not here to hand you answers, I’m here to help you discover your own truth. Our work together will focus on supporting your own exploration of what you need to be well.
I work with people navigating chronic pain, grief, anxiety, identity formation, and the search for meaning and purpose in their lives. Together, we’ll explore your values, build tools for resilience, and help you express your unapologetic, authentic self. Let’s make space for what’s real, starting with where you are now
